My name is Honey Lim, and I am the niece of Lillian Too, the world’s best-selling author and foremost expert on the subject of feng shui. I live in New Zealand, and started this site around year 2002 first an online feng shui service, which then later turned into a online feng shui advice site. Since then, this site has been visited by feng shui enthusiasts from more than 70 countries around the globe and has enjoyed the patronage of more than 4000 subscribers (thanks guys for your support!).

After becoming a new mum and working full-time, I thought of shutting down this site as I became too busy to update the site frequently. However, friends and relatives convinced me to keep this site going as a resource for everyone that has benefited from visiting and supporting it in the past.

So, as a thank-you to those who have supported me in the past, I have decided to keep the site up and have changed the format slightly to allow comments & postings from others too. This site is Version 3 - which has been styled as a blog and I invite you to post comments and write in if you have something to share.

Does Honey have a real job?

This blog is my free-time thing. When I’m not blogging, I work as a Project Manager for an award-winning insurance company called Vero. My other job(s) which pays nothing but rewards infinitely, is being a mother to both my little boys and decorating my house (and all the housework that comes with it). I was recently blessed with my second child in January 2008, so I’m afraid blogging has taken a back-seat for now!

Why continue blogging?

My sincere goal for maintaining this blog, is to express my passion for feng shui, and share my thoughts on the application of feng shui on real-life situations. I do not in anyway claim to be a feng shui master; I just enjoy sharing my knowledge and experiences after having practiced feng shui for more than 13 years and learned from the best (my aunt) in this field. My comments and articles posted on this website are based on my own interpretations and learnings on feng shui. The source of my knowledge comes from:

  1. working as my aunt (Lillian Too)’s personal assistant through her authorship of her first 5 books on feng shui. Within this capacity I enjoyed the privillege of proof-reading her books and personally witnessing her method and application of feng shui on her own home.
  2. formally studied under my aunt - i have a Master Consutlants Certificate from the Lillian Too Institute of Feng Shui
  3. reading all her books and books written by masters that are highly respected by my aunt
  4. trying out all the formulas on my own home
  5. getting heaps of support and advice from my entire family and experts at WOFS.com - who are now super skilled in feng shui!

Feng shui is both a science and an art, and being this, is subject to interpretation within a framework of thinking. It is also a very ancient science, hence, adapting it’s fundmentals to current application requires a grounded understanding of its basic principles, and courage to make judgements on its application.
