The school of Symbolism in feng shui (as it’s name implies) is all about interpreting symbols and the perception, feeling and energy it gives influences it’s surroundings. SOmeone wrote in asking about keeping Egyptian mummies.
A friend gifted me a small model of an Egyptian mummy. Is there anything wrong in keeping it at home?
Personally, I’m not fond of anything that represents tombs, rot or death – and mummies to me fall under that category. The same goes with stuffed animals preserved (they really give me the creeps!). In feng shui, these items are associated with Yin energy – which brings unfavarouble luck such as theft, illness, etc. To each it’s own i say – so if you really like keeping the mummy – you’re welcome to do so, but i wouldn’t!
