My new house is under contruction now in year 2002 and would be ready in 2003, so is it a period 7 house or period 8 house? My present house is a period 7 house, can I change it to period 8 house by doing some minor renovations, like breaking a wall?
Your new house will be a Period of 7 house. Tell your contractor to leave a small part of the roof unclosed until Feb 4 2004. Then close it up after that. As for your current house, unless it is a very major big wall, no - you need to either renovate the whole house, or symbolically lift the roof and replace it. Some masters recommend banging rituals that you can do that will change the period of the house.
