In my article on mirrors, I mentioned that mirrors shouldn’t cut off your head or your feet. One reader wrote in asking:
I read your article on mirrors and since then have been pondering about what I face. You said about “hallway mirrors that reflect you as you walk past them must be in full length. My hallway mirror cuts off the legs - from the knee downwards. What should I do?? ps. I placed a pot of artificial ferns to smoothen the bottomless leg effect to the minimum.
It is better to have them full length. if possible or try moving the mirror down a little or but you can cover the bottom half with a table or side table so that it looks as though the table is covering the mirror between you and the mirror. Placing the plants is also quite a clever solution if you can make sure that it covers the entire bottom of the mirror.
