I wrote an article about using mirrors in FS world, and one reader sent in her question:
I have just read your article which advises people against mirrors in their bedroom. Within the last year, my partner and I have bought and moved into a house which has a mirror in the bedroom on the cupboard doors exactly like the picture on your web site which is a floor to ceiling covering the cupboard doors. Is there any way (besides totally removing) which can offset this energy? Or will it be necessary to remove these mirrors completely. I have noticed that we fight a lot now (where we never did before) and our relationship has suffered since we moved into this house.
The best solution is of course to have it removed and replaced with solid doors. However, if this is difficult or you are renting, a good temporary solution is to place a curtain rail above your cupboard and hang a thick drape/curtain covering the wardrobe between the bed and the cupboard. The idea is to hide the mirror. You may also place a folding screen between the bed and the wardrobe if you have enough room. It is strongly advised that you consider removing them or build a cupboard door over the wardrobe to cover it. Also check that your bathroom is not in the Southwest as that will drain the luck from the relationship and cause you, tha Matriarch of the home, a lot of stress.
