Someone asked me about ceiling fans..
Is it OK to have a ceiling fan in the bedroom above my bed? In Malaysia alot of houses come built with this feature. I’ve also seen lots of nice versions of ceiling fans that look really nice from a design point of view but wondered what the feng shui implications are of installing one for my own bedroom.
Ceiling fans above your sleeping area is not considered good feng shui as it creates too much yang energy in a Yin room, leading to quarrels, and a stressful life. The cutting action of blades above your body is also symbolically undesirable. Stand fans that swivel are much better. Try not to hang anything above your head or body when sleeping.
